Holidays at Headon
We are thrilled to have been awarded the AA Small Campsite of the Year award for 2022 for our 3 Pennant GOLD Touring Site.
At Headon Farm we welcome families and are a dog friendly AA 3 Pennant GOLD Touring Site with lawned and hardstanding pitches each with EHU, offering peace and tranquillity.
Our site is open all year round and has good access via an all-weather entrance. There is a heated toilet/shower unit that is free to use. We have free Wi-Fi if you need it, alternatively relax and take in the magnificent views across the beautiful Devon and Cornwall countryside. We offer a tow service from/to storage to Touring Site to make the most of your time with us. We are centrally located for visiting the stunning north Cornwall coast, Dartmoor, Exmoor and the picturesque towns and villages of the West Country. For those who are energetic there are plenty of activities available in the area such as golf, fishing, surfing, kayaking, horse-riding and hiking to name a few. Don’t forget to sample the delicious local specialities, cream teas and Cornish pasties are a must!
We welcome tents on our Touring Site.
For families
Our touring site is particularly safe for children with only one exit/entrance to watch.
There is a large grass area in the centre of the Site for children to run off some energy playing cricket, football or even fly a kite.
The site is quiet 10pm onwards, the sounds you may hear are from the cows mooing or sheep bleating.
There are lots of activities and attractions for children within easy reach of the Site, The Big Sheep, Milky Way, canoeing on Bude canal, swimming pools, bowling and soft play area or rock-pooling and crabbing at the beaches in Bude. They won’t be bored!
We welcome dogs
Four-legged friends are especially welcome at Headon.
We ask if dogs can be kept on a lead on the Site and there are dog bins available. We have a dedicated dog walking field available where you can exercise your dog off the lead for a good run. From the Site the lanes are quiet to walk and nearby there is forestry or the north Cornwall beaches for exercising your dog. We have details of ‘doggy daycare’ kennels should you wish. We ask that dogs are not left unattended on Site. We cannot accept any dogs on the Government Banned Dogs list including Pit Bull XL Bully and types also the Cane Corso breed.
There is no additional charge for dogs on our Touring Site.
